Nigerian singer real name Paul Okoye, famously known by his stage name ‘Rude boy’ alias ‘King Rudy’ is in Kampala ahead of the Valentine’s Day celebrations this Friday.
The singer, who jetted in at Entebbe International Airport Wednesday morning, will be performing live at Lugogo Cricket Oval where he promises nothing but an awesome show.
While responding to Comedy Store boss Alex Muhangi’s questions at the Airport, Rudeboy said he is ready to make this Valentine’s (Lovers’ Day) memorable like no other as he will be performing for couples in love rather those celebrating the Day.
When asked whether he was going to pay tribute to one of his Ugandan fallen fellow singer and friend, Rudeboy said, “ It is so sad remembering his death and I don’t want to talk about it now, but one thing I must assure you is that his music still lives and nothing can change that.”
“He had this uniqueness when it comes to his voice just like me, when I sing, you can surely feel the vibe and no one else can do it the way I do,” he added.
Rudeboy however promised fans and music lovers that he will perform late Mowzey’s ‘Nakudata’ track during the show.
