The former Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Apollo Kantinti has been hospitalised in a critical condition, Whisper Eye exclusively reports.
The former FDC lawmaker, who fell ill last week is reportedly admitted at a private hospital in Kampala.
Our sources confirmed that the former MP fell ill amidst deteriorating financial situation ever since he lost elections to Bobi Wine in 2017 .
A family source told us that Kantinti who has kept a low profile is suffering from unidentified strange disease that has kept him away from the public.
He contested with NRM’s Sitenda Ssebalu , DP’s Babirye Lilliane and independent Muwada Nkunyingi defeating them with a slight margin in 2016 elections which backfired with court cases hence loosing his seat which was won by Bobi Wine in a by- election.
Whisper Eye is yet to verify which hospital he was taken too. This comes at a time Kazibwe Bashir a popular journalist fell ill and was airlifted to Nairobi hospital for further treatment in a very critical condition with reportedly food poisoning.
Whisper Eye efforts to get a comment from FDC deputy spokesperson Mr John Kikoyonjo was futile despite repeatedly mobile calls.
