Semwanga Alex, better known by his stage name, Smatfon, is a Ugandan singer. He is a member of Fine Hits Music and Entertainment LTD.
During high school, he started his passion for music, but in 2016 he started to sing professionally as a solo artist.
In 2019, Smatfon gained
notability which made him sign a recording contract with a fast-growing music label - Fine Hits Music and Entertainment LTD.

Semwanga Alex aka Smatfon is a Muganda by tribe, born in Masaka and raised in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
After completing his
basic education at Namasuba Umea Primary School and Green Light high school, he dropped out of school in senior 4. After dropout,
Smatfon started pursuing music as a career.
In 2016, he released "Kati Diz time", his first official single, produced by ............ with
writing credit from ...........
In 2017, he went on to release another song titled "Kumwaala", and then "Ndebelele". It was after these songs that
made Smatfon win a recording and management with Fine Hits Music and Entertainment LTD.
