Saturday the 15th of June will see the 2019 Copa America tournament kick off, with hosts Brazil taking on Bolivia at the Morumbi stadium in Sao Paulo. beIN SPORTS will be covering all 26 games from Brazil Live on our Max channels. Ahead of the tournament, we have decided to compile everything you need to know about the 2019 Copa America.

The 2019 Copa America will take place between the 14th of June to the 7th of July 2019.
Who are the Defending Champions?

Chile is the reigning Copa America champions. They won the Copa América Centenario in 2016, defeating Argentina 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out.

The 2019 Copa will take place in Brazil, and will be the first major footballing tournament taking place in the country since the 2016 Olympics which took place in Rio de Janeiro.

The tournament will take place across six stadiums in four cities in Brazil.

Which teams are taking part in the 2019 COPA America?

All ten sides from COMNEBOL will take part in the tournament along with two invited sides, Japan and Qatar. This will be the first time that an Arabic side has been invited to the COPA America.
